Sharper Minds Literacy Group, LLC offers high-quality professional development that promotes life-long learning in every classroom, for every student, and residency options for early childhood teachers, instructional coaches, teacher leaders, induction teachers, and administrators. This is accomplished through co-teaching and demonstration lessons, conferring, and responsive, data-based planning conversations.
Services
The Primary Goals for Each Residency Are:
- Promote the implementation of evidence aligned literacy instruction that will support teachers with the competence and confidence needed to teach all students to read and write successfully.
- Create curriculum along-side educators to support and implement joyfully rigorous standards-based instruction.
- Design coaching support, professional development, and experiences that will foster meaningful change in instructional practices.
- Inspire and engage educators in a safe learning environment during coaching and training sessions with hands-on student-centered experiences.
- Assess instructional practices and make recommendations to improve student outcomes.
- Plan and conduct on-going professional development on best practices in early childhood classrooms.
- Collaborate with leadership to support a school-wide vision for continued academic growth for all students.
